AND, we actually teach you how to groom, saddle and take care of your assigned horse so that you get hands on experience. We also teach you how to ride successfully in the corral before you go out on the first ride. If you want to help feed you can do that too!

a great program that helps folks learn about horses and balanced riding by actually interacting with the horse instead of just riding them!

Shawn, thank you so much for the week at your ranch. My granddaughters, Maggie and Emily, had the time of their lives, as did I. Your ranch is friendly, fast-paced, and well-organized. The horses are amazingly well-trained, and the food is beyond delicious. Your wranglers are all polite and unbelievably hard-working. I've sent pictures and emails to many of my friends, family and co-workers, and several have expressed interest in coming to see you. I've been to many vacation destinations, including London, Paris, Cayman and BVI; yet your ranch is the best one of all. Thank you for your hard work and for providing my granddaughters with a vacation they will always remember.

You and your staff made great memories for my family. My six
grandchildren had a great time and never touched anything
electronic! Your ranch is perfect for extended families, and your
staff is so good with children of all ages. I cannot thank Alex
enough for her teaching my granddaughters how to ride, and even the two
little boys, 2 and 4, had a blast walking around with their granddad,
digging in the dirt, playing with sticks and rocks and petting
horses. The weekend was too short, but we all thank you for a
great experience.

Our group of 32 spent 3 nights at the French Broad Outpost Ranch last
month (5/2010) and we had a blast! We ran in age from 1 year to
79 years old. Everyone loved it and believe me that we slept good
at night. Our days were so full that no one missed TV or video
games. The horses were wonderful and the orientation made
everyone comfortable to groom and saddle their own horse. We
loved the rides and the scenery. The white water rafting was a
hit too. The FOOD was DELICIOUS!!! Please publish a recipe
book, because we all want one.
And above all, the personel at the ranch were so helpful and
kind. A special thank you to Kyle, Mayan and Shawn! There
will be families from our group returning. What a different,
delightful adventure.
