Join Larry Miller, of south Florida’s Lawrence Miller Photography- for some thrilling and educational photographic adventures this autumn in the Great Smoky Mountains of eastern Tennessee. A professional photographer and experienced photography instructor, Larry who blends practical experience and theoretical learning along with a healthy dash of humor to share his knowledge and to help students create a higher level of inspiring images.
The workshop experience will consist of many opportunities to capture the spectacular colors of autumn while also enjoying the active life of a working dude ranch. While horseback riding through the Smoky Mountains, you will photograph breathtaking views as well as beautiful close ups of the brilliant fall foliage in the mountains. There will also be walking romps through the woods to capture more of the surrounding natural beauty.
The photographic learning isn’t limited just to the daytime. In the evenings, you will be doing portrait photography, rustic painting with light in the stables, as well as participating in ongoing critiques of work.
Lawrence Miller Photography and French Broad Outpost Ranch have worked together to come up with a spectacular package price for this one-of-a-kind photo experience. The cost for the photographic seminar, lodging, and meals is $ 640.00 plus taxes and gratuity. This is a per person price for participants of the photographic seminar and their families only. Participants may check in at the ranch on Wednesday, October 24, beginning at 3:00 pm. Check-out is Sunday, October 30 by 10:00 am. Senior Citizens weeks-In September and October, Senior Citizens (ages 55 and up) only pay $140 dollars per day of stay with a 2 night minimum double occupency. You can ride 2 times a day or just once, it's up to you. It's a great getaway with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. (rate for senior singles is $165)
