We are having a great Western Gathering April 1st thru April 4th
The first day we have Michael Martin Murphey
singer of "Wildfire" and "Carolina in the Pines" and many more hits. Friday night we have Belinda Gail & Curly Musgrave, and performing Saturday night is 9 time Grammy winner Asleep at the Wheel
You can stay at the ranch in the following ways:
1. Stay the whole week March 28th - April 4th
$1100 adults
$900 teens
$600 kids 5-12
The first 3 days will be like our regular Dude Ranch schedule, with horseback rides, cattle drive and team penning. The final 4 days will not offer any of the regular schedule because the event will have other activities free of charge to our guests at the ranch.
2. Stay only during the event from Wednesday to Sunday
$700 adults
$575 teens
$350 kids 5-12
There are no regular scheduled activities for the half week. All of the events are free to you as a guest of the ranch.
If there is VIP seating at any of the performances, you get to sit there.
There are no 3 day stays from Sunday to Wednesday available.

for a 2010 vacation

Now you can buy a Gift Certificate for a French Broad Outpost Dude Ranch vacation for 2010, not only with a built in discount, but if you decide after 1 year you can’t come for any reason, we will buy it back at 10% interest to you. It’s a great investment, either way you choose.
How does it work?
• You buy your Gift Certificate for 2010 season at $1250 dollars.
• You can then redeem each GC for one adult, one teen, or 2 kids at a tremendous savings
• You save $325 dollars on one adult, save $25 on one teen, or save $700 for 2 kids for high season. You can also use them in low season for a lesser discount.
• You can buy enough GC’s for your family, or you can buy just one for yourself and get 10% off this year’s prices for the rest of your party.
• If you can’t come for any reason, we will buy back your GC after one full year from date of purchase and pay you 10% interest. That means you’ll get back $1375.00

Shooters Weeks
Cowboy Mounted Shooting

We are planning 1 shooters weeks this spring.
You can bring your family or friends to enjoy the ranch as usual with rides in our regular routine or you can just come by yourself.
Begineers Week
April 25th-May 2nd $1000.00 per participant plus taxes and gratuity
Limited to 11 riders
The beginners week will be primarily for beginning to intermediate riders that want to learn how to ride better so that they can actually do successful Mounted shooting. You will be doing corral riding with supervision and training, with each rider progressing at their own ability. So Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be heavy on learning to ride competently. After supper those 3 days, we will be doing on the ground target shooting of fixed balloons. This will give you the opportunity to get used to shooting, including safety and loading of black powder. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we will be putting the 2 activities together in order to progress towards Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Now some of you may want to come because you want to compete someday at an event, and some of you may want to come just to experience the thrill of riding and shooting. This week is for just those purposes so come on out and enjoy!
 
Future Weeks : SASS shoot outs-we are working on a few ideas and details to get a couple weeks in the near future, to have some sanctioned shoot outs with folks staying here as participants as well as some just here as spectators. Check back soon!
Senior Citizens weeks-In September and October, Senior Citizens (ages 55 and up) only pay $140 dollars per day of stay with a 2 night minimum double occupency. You can ride 2 times a day or just once, it's up to you. It's a great getaway with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. (rate for senior singles is $165)
